It’s been a while since I’ve drawn my polar bear but he has appeared again in this illustration. I am pleased with this picture mainly because I had an image in my mind and was able to produce it, perhaps my practice is paying off. I could’ve experimented more with the colours but kept to the cool colours to match the environment. Plenty of feet in view to fit the theme for Illustration Friday.
Talking of amazing feet. Here’s a snap of the women’s Commonwealth Games Marathon. Competitor 1108 is Australian Kerryn McCann who went on to win the event. I bet she has sore feet after running 42 km.
I love the seal’s little upturned flippers-this is so cute and you really are getting so fast at these. I have a sketch and have done some research but too much is going to have to go into it to complete it on time. I will have to take notes from you on faster and less complex, this is adorable!
Wow, you’ve also changed to wordpress! Looks good!
I use it for a little while now, and after getting used to it, it works splendid I think.
Sweet illustration. Greetings from the NL.

They’re all so lovey-dovey…I’m guessing that doesn’t happen much in “real” life:> I love the sweet faces and the lineup of feet. And about the runners…wow! Strong ladies!
