It is interesting to see how some pictures have a mind of their own. I started with this simple black and white line drawing and thought I would add some colour. The next thing I knew I had played around with colour, layers and textures to produce this.

At the end of June I am enrolled in a short illustration course – Intro to Illustration : Words and Pictures. I am really looking forward to this as it will be good to meet with some other people interested in illustrating and to get some inspiration and learn new things.

    Sounds great…always fun to play with textures etc. also.

    Maggie this texture is piece of fabric scanned at the black and white colour scale.
