These are my first attempts at patterned illustrations. Each one to a different theme with lots of random placing, resizing, flipping and colour changing.

….just more sketches, some of them are still waiting to be brought to life.
Have a great weekend!
I have been very busy drawing many new images on 15 different themes. As you can probably guess this one’s on recycling and the environment. It has been such a fun project and I look forward to showing you more about it later in the month.
Tomorrow is another high fire danger day and the warnings are out and many schools are closing for the day.
It has taken a few weeks to get into the routine but school is back.
Colour version:
Chloe has been drawing, pretty impressive line work. Now we just have to work on the spelling.
Jess even had ago at colouring with ink.
It’s heating up in Melbourne in fact we’re in for a heat wave, just as I’m about to go back to work!

Today there was time for a quick sketch and colour in photoshop.
I have just seen that my page at imagezoo is now up.
…just another little animation using Beneton Movie GIF.
I know it’s a little rough but it is my first ever animation. New challenges for a New Year.
Yeah, it’s holiday time, so stayed tuned for new blog entries and art projects.
Looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon, try this…
…printing using soft cut carving block.
Chloe’s above and Jessie’s below.
Christmas wishes to you all.
A nice little Christmas picture from Jessie (aged10).
Don’t think there will be any snow here on Christmas day though. Usually it’s hot lunches on hot days, barbeques and swims at the beach or in backyard pools. Boxing day will bring plenty of sporting events to watch like tennis and cricket.
