Yes, it is an unusual topic.
But it was fun playing around with colour and pattern.
What is your dream illustration job? Mine would be illustrating for House and Gardens or Home Beautiful or one of those magazines.
I made these pictures to use with my students who are learning English. I cut out and laminate them and use them as promts for story telling. After telling the story the students are so much more ready to write it.
What ever will we do now Masterchef is over? All three of my children were caught in the fever of this show and have a greater appreciation of food and cooking.
I am a featured artist at the moment at IMAGEZOO. Take a look at my page.
I should have ago at making the tortoise’s steps smaller and slower, maybe tomorrow.
A new illo to mark the beginning of the holidays. This piece was a quick, free illustration. I really like the green plant at the front.
It is cold here and every one is wearing scarves. Makes you want to knit. Mind you, I just picked up a bargain Country Road scarf, so I’m very pleased with myself.
This is my plan for the holidays – drawing, gardening, cooking and putting up some wallpaper!
Yes, check out my new wallpaper.
This is the illustration that went on a poster for Moreland City Council. It is hand drawn with digital colouring. Text was added to the final poster.
It’s been a long time and a very busy time at that. It has included teaching, illustrating projects, computers crashing, broken bones requiring surgery (poor Scott) and more. So that is why there has been a lack of posts.
I have completed some illustrations for the education market, announcement boards and for a poster. A sneak peak of a few of my new characters…..
See what I mean by broken bones -ouch!
I am a little teapot…..
Just some silly little teapots. I think I like the green one best. I guess the steam should really come out of kettles not teapots, oh well.
